Updated Mask Policies for Casino Guests in Nevada

Below is a list of updated mask policies, based on updated CDC guidelines, for casinos guests in Nevada. Please note that these reflect current mask policies as dictated on the respective casino's official website or recent announcements in the press and are subject to change. If you notice any discrepancies to what is listed below, kindly let us know in the comments!


This list is provided for informational purposes only and will be updated on an ongoing basis. As always, please contact the respective casino for their official stance on their mask policies as this information is subject to change.


Aliante Casino Hotel Spa - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


ARIA Resort & Casino - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


Arizona Charlie's Boulder - According to the Golden Entertainment Commitment to Health & Safety page, Guests must wear masks or face coverings while on property at all times.


Arizona Charlie's Decatur  - According to the Golden Entertainment Commitment to Health & Safety page, Guests must wear masks or face coverings while on property at all times.


Atlantis Casino Resort Spa - Reno - (05/15/2021) Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Grand Sierra Resort, and the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino are not requiring masks on the gaming floor if patrons have been fully vaccinated, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.


Bally's Las Vegas - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


Bellagio  - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


Best Western Plus Casino Royale - We have not found an official update to their mask policy as a result of new CDC guidelines.


Binion's Gambling Hall - According to the Health Guidelines PDF on the Binion's Gambling Hall website: All guests over age 10 are required to wear masks while in the property.


Bonanza Casino - Is asking all customers to stay masked if they are not fully vaccinated. Bonanza says it will not require proof of vaccination. Bonanza Employees will continue to wear facemasks until they are fully vaccinated.


Boomtown Casino Hotel - According to the Health and Safety Plan on Boomtown Reno's website, guests are still required to wear masks while on the property.


Boulder Station - According to the Play It Safe section of the Bolder Station website, guests are required to wear masks while on the property.


Cactus Petes - From the updates section of their website: "Nevada mandate requires that all Guests must wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth in all public areas throughout the entire property. This rule applies to all Guests regardless of vaccination status."


Caesars Palace - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


California Hotel & Casino - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Cannery Casino and Hotel - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Carson City Nugget - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Carson City Nugget at this time.


Casablanca Resort, Casino, Golf and Spa - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Casablanca Resort, Casino, Golf and Spa at this time.


Casino Fandango - According to the Health and Safety protocols on their website, masks are required for all guests.


Circa Resort & Casino - In statement released Friday evening, Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino would no longer require masks for vaccinated guests and employees. Any guest or staff member not fully vaccinated must continue to wear face coverings while on property.


Circus Circus Las Vegas - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Circus Circus Las Vegas at this time.


Circus Circus Reno - All three downtown properties owned by Caesars Entertainment — The Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus — will stop requiring vaccinated guests to wear masks. The new guidance will apply to employees who have been fully vaccinated as well. Masks will still be required for guests and workers who have not been vaccinated.


Club Cal Neva - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Club Cal Neva at this time.


Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. “Fully vaccinated” means 2 weeks after receiving the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. For guests who are not vaccinated, face masks are required at all times inside the resort.


Diamond's Casino - According to their official website, masks are required while visiting.


Downtown Grand - According to their Stay Safe policy, guests are required to wear personal face masks throughout all public areas.


Eastside Cannery Casino Hotel - Currently closed.


El Cortez Hotel & Casino - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at El Cortez Hotel & Casino at this time.


Ellis Island Casino & Brewery - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Ellis Island Casino & Brewery at this time.


Encore - Wynn Las Vegas issued a statement Thursday declaring masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated people at its two resorts.


Excalibur Hotel & Casino - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


Fiesta Henderson Hotel & Casino - Currently closed.


Flamingo Las Vegas - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


Four Queens Hotel and Casino - Four Queens Hotel and Casino has posted a sign stating that face coverings are not required for guests vaccinated against COVID-19.


Fremont Hotel and Casino - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Gold Coast Hotel and Casino - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Gold Dust West Reno - According to their Health and Safety guidelines on their website: mask-wearing is mandatory on the property to limit the spread of COVID-19.


Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino Carson City - According to their Health and Safety guidelines on their website: mask-wearing is mandatory on the property to limit the spread of COVID-19.


Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino Elko - According to their Health and Safety guidelines on their website: mask-wearing is mandatory on the property to limit the spread of COVID-19.


Golden Gate Casino - Due to updates from the CDC, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests/team members on our property. Unvaccinated guests/team members are required to wear a mask.


Golden Nugget Las Vegas - According to the Health and Sanitation Guidelines, all guests over age 10 are required to wear masks while in the resort.


Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - GSR guests may now follow the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) which advises that fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask or socially distance.


Green Valley Ranch - Masks are not required. (Still confirming if this is true as we have not seen a definitive statement indicating so).


Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Everyone is required to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth.


Harrah's Las Vegas - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


Harrah's Laughlin - Everyone is required to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth.


Harvey's Lake Tahoe - Everyone is required to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth.


Longhorn Hotel & Casino - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Longhorn Hotel & Casino at this time.


Luxor Las Vegas - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


M Resort Spa Casino - M Resort Spa Casino requires all persons in public areas to wear a mask covering the face and nose. Patrons may remove masks temporarily while eating, drinking or smoking, or when asked by casino staff for identification.


Main Street Station Casino, Brewery and Hotel - Currently closed.


Mandalay Bay - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


New York New York - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


Nugget Casino Resort - Per CDC guidelines fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear masks. Masks required for non-vaccinated guests. People are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.


OYO Las Vegas Hotel and Casino - All hotel associates are required to wear face masks. Guests are encouraged to do so as well.


Palace Station Hotel & Casino - Masks are not required. (Still confirming if this is true as we have not seen a definitive statement indicating so)


Palms Casino Resort - Currently closed.


Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


Park MGM Las Vegas - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


Peppermill Reno - Consistent with guidance from the CDC, and consistent with the directives of Governor Sisolak and the Washoe County Commission, fully vaccinated guests and employees no longer need to wear a mask while on property. Peppermill respectfully request that our guests who have not been fully vaccinated continue to wear masks on Peppermill premises, consistent with CDC guidelines.


Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


Plaza Hotel & Casino - Guests are encouraged to wear face coverings inside the Plaza Hotel and Casino.


Rainbow Club Casino - Fully vaccinated individuals need not wear masks. No directive is in effect that requires licensees to confirm patron vaccination status.


Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin - Anyone who is fully vaccinated, can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing, except where required by federal, state, local laws, rules and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.


Red Garter Casino - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Red Garter Casino at this time.


Red Rock Resort - Masks are not required. (Still confirming if this is true as we have not seen a definitive statement indicating so).


Rio Las Vegas - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."


SAHARA Las Vegas - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask or socially distance at SAHARA Las Vegas.


Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Sands Regency Casino Hotel - Mask-wearing is mandatory on the property.


Sante Fe Station Hotel and Casino - Masks are not required. (Still confirming if this is true as we have not seen a definitive statement indicating so).


Silver Legacy Resort Casino - All three downtown properties owned by Caesars Entertainment — The Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus — will stop requiring vaccinated guests to wear masks. The new guidance will apply to employees who have been fully vaccinated as well. Masks will still be required for guests and workers who have not been vaccinated.


Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino - We do not have any official word on an updated mask policy at Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino at this time.


Silverton Casino - Employees and guests will continue to follow health and safety guidelines, including mask mandates and appropriate social distancing policies.


South Point Hotel and Casino - Per the Nevada Governor's Mandate – All Vaccinated Guests are no longer required to wear a mask anywhere on property.


Suncoast Hotel & Casino - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


Texas Station - Currently closed.


The Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel & Casino - Caesars Entertainment has released a new mask policy: "Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the most recent recommendations, we will no longer require our guests or Team Members who have been fully vaccinated to wear a mask on our properties in Nevada."

The Mirage Las Vegas - Per CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.


The Orleans Hotel & Casino - Masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose, including when not actively eating, drink or smoking. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks.


The STRAT - According to the Golden Entertainment Commitment to Health & Safety page, Guests must wear masks or face coverings while on property at all times.


The Venetian Resort Las Vegas - In line with CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask. By not wearing a mask, you certify that you are fully vaccinated and that other guests in the area can rely on that as a truthful statement.


Treasure Island Las Vegas - Employees and guests at Treasure Island are not required to wear a mask. Those not fully vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times while at the property unless actively eating or drinking in an authorized area.


Tropicana Las Vegas - Tropicana Las Vegas requires all persons in public areas to wear a mask covering the face and nose.


Wynn Las Vegas - Guests are not required to wear a mask if they are fully vaccinated and are required to wear a mask if they are not.
